2005

It was a poor start to the 2005 season, with most earlier trips cancelled due to the bad weather. However, things began to pick up in May, with good showings of medium-sized Cod from both ground and on the wrecks, the better fish coming from the wrecks. There had been plenty of good catches by the end of the year.

This guy, from Harrogate, came fishing with us for his Stag Weekend. It's obvious he had a great time, judging by the look on his face after catching this as his first fish !l Not too far off shore as you can see, where Tim, from Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, caught this wonderful 17lb Ling. This overcast day didn't stop "Grumpy Skip" Frank landing this fine Pollack on a jelly worm.
